Resource – Acts of Kindness Christmas Countdown

resourceA couple of years ago I created an Acts of Kindness Bingo and later on in the year an Acts of Kindness Christmas Countdown. Last year I let the students do it, but this year I want to do it real justice so I’ve gone and created it myself.

The first sheet will sit on top of the second sheet and will be cut to create flaps that lift. Students will add their initials to the top sheet for the each of the acts of kindness they complete. This year I will also be encouraging students to take photos where appropriate to share with the form and to add to our noticeboard.

Form Time Ideas – Acts of Kindness

At the beginning of December I shared a guest post on Amjad Ali’s  Teaching Toolkit. Over the last 3 weeks I loved seeing the variety of takes on my Acts of Kindness Countdown and have been really pleased to hear of other students getting involved in sharing a bit of extra kindness.

Here are a few of the examples I could find on my twitter feed!

(Sorry if missed anyone, these were the only ones I could find again)

Thank you all for encouraging your form groups to spread some kindness. I hope they continue to do so in the New Year.
